Formare was born from a lifelong passion — a love for horses and a devotion to design. My journey began at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where I first trained as a designer before continuing my studies in Milan. Through life in different countries and cultures—from China to the U.S. to Italy—I have been deeply inspired by the grace of Chinese traditional aesthetics, the timeless elegance of Italian heritage, and the modern edge of New York City. It was here, between history and innovation, that the seed of Formare took root. Horses have been a part of my life since childhood. I owned my first horse at eighteen, but as my studies and career took me across continents, I had to part with him. Even now, I return to visit him when I can — a reminder of the bond that first shaped my love for the equestrian world. Over time, I realized I wanted to create something that connected both of my passions: horses and design. Formare, from the Latin “to shape, to form, to create,” reflects this vision. Our mission is to shape a new era of equestrian fashion where performance and design coexist in perfect balance — elegance that is not only beautiful but also deeply functional. Tired of fast fashion, we do not chase trends or seasons. Instead, each collection is designed to be timeless, meaningful, and enduring. Every piece is inspired by culture, nature, and the human spirit — shaped by the things that move us, and created to honor the bond between rider and horse.
